Hotel Clarin - Oviedo

Spacious room with a comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. The air conditioning unit was quite noisy, though.

The food was fabulous with a lot of alternatives.

Comfortable and very clean, great location to see Oviedo. Great buffet breakfast.

The bedroom decor is not good- too stripy- headache inducing! We requested a room change for this reason and our request was promptly facilitated which was very appreciated.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The foyer area is welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is extensive.

The bedroom carpet was not clean (carpet on the floor outside the bathroom door is not practical).

Excellent location close to attractions and a charming atmosphere with friendly staff. Spacious and clean room contributed to a pleasant stay.

I faced issues with the air conditioning, noisy and inefficient . The electronic door system often malfunctioned at night, causing delays.

the hotel provides surprisingly good breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

It is located in the exact city centre, close to everything by foot. Extremely quiet,very confortable, the staff is very polite and professional. Very clean and well equipped. If you go by car, they do not have their own parking but right in front there's one where they take real good care of your vehicle for 10 eur/day. Restaurants all arround, shops, cafeterias, pedestrian areas....very very well placed. I will repeat when I get back to Oviedo.

The only thing is the tv in the room, it is small and old. I told them in reception when I left and they "confessed" they're in the process of getting new screens. Apart from that, nothing bad to say about the place, I really recommend it.

We stayed in a spacious double room that was nicely decorated. The receptionists were super friendly, especially Laura, who helped us check in early since we arrived much before the standard time. This hotel is great location in downtown Oviedo, close to everything we wanted to see.

My kids wished for a more varied breakfast selection.

Unfortunately, incredibly hard to find. You park in a separate location near the hotel. The layout of streets and signage in Oviedo is very poor and confusing. Hotel should try to highlight that for international travelers who might not be accustomed to old Euro cities.

We had a wonderful welcome from a female receptionist who spoke good enough English and was very helpful explaining where to park. The hotel is on a pedestrianised road, with parking available in a garage opposite the hotel for 10 euros a day. Our room was spacious and the wallpaper startling. The breakfast selection was very good indeed. Everything at the hotel made for an enjoyable stay. A central location made sightseeing in the city easy and it was easy to access the car to take trips out to the coast.

This was just a fitting option for exploring town in Oviedo with excellent value for money. The bathroom was clean and had all the comforts I needed . Always check out the nearby laundromat-you never know when it will come in handy.

Clarin is an absolute gem! Centrally located, just an 8-minute walk from the old town, it offers spacious rooms with modern amenities and striking decor. The staff goes above and beyond-check-in was easy thanks to Laura, who even accommodated my early arrival. Plus, the bed was comfortable.

Air conditioning issues.

The welcome from a very friendly receptrion staff. The hotel contacted us in advance to warn us about road works outside the hotel. The striking idiosyncratic room decoration (very stripy). Very good value for money. We would look for other hotels in this chain.
